Irrigation System Approach

D & B Power Associates, Inc. has the knowledge and experience to provide irrigation systems protection for any golf course facility.

 

Survey
Your facility will be surveyed to check current grounding methods and determine what specific devices will be required. We determine the type and rating of the power service for each location, along with the number of remote controller sites and specific equipment to assure proper selection of AC and data/signal line protectors.

Lightning Protection
Our Lightning Protection Diagram  illustrates our 100% effective lightning protection package for the maintenance facility and pump house as well as the grounding plan.

Installation
Proper installation is as important as the selection of the protection devices. While some of the protection devices such as our 407T/907T and DLPT series for remote controllers can be installed by qualified maintenance personnel, the main panel suppressors should be installed on the main power service panel by a licensed electrician.
