APC Global Services Group supplements your InfraStruXureTM solution with comprehensive end-to-end service and support. APC Authorized Service Engineers are available any time of the day or night, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, wherever you do business.

InfraStruXureTM Standard Guarantee
InfraStruXureTM systems ship with a 2-year standard warranty. If you choose to purchase all components in the InfraStruXureTM architecture an additional 1-year warranty is offered for free. This warranty includes a next day parts replacement on all sub-system components of the InfraStruXureTM architecture. Should you choose to upgrade the system to include an on-site contract, APC offers modular service packages to exactly match your needs. Installation of InfraStruXureTM or its components contrary to the instructions on the installation manual will void its warranty. For full terms and conditions see Warranty Terms and Conditions.

Remote Monitoring Service (RMS)
InfraStruXureTM ships with a free 6-month trial period RMS, which can be performed out-of-band via a modem or in-band via APC's Web/SNMP card. Remote monitoring allows you to:

  • Cut costs of downtime. As the InfraStruXure system is monitored 24x7, APC’s operations team can identify potential problems before downtime is incurred
  • Reduce staff/headcount by outsourcing power and environmental management
  • Customize escalation process required when specific events occur
  • Receive monthly reports that identify actions and trends

Network Integration Services
An APC Field Service Engineer will configure the InfraStruXureTM software, assign provided names/addresses to InfraStruXureTM components, and integrate software into your Network or Building Management System.

APC's Network Integration Service can also provide data cable management solutions. Engineers utilize best practices to attach, label, and route connectivity cables within the IT enclosure.

On-site Training
(An APC Engineer will come to your site for one, 8-hour day and provide technical training for your staff.

Three levels of training are available:

  • Operational training and standard emergency procedures
  • Operational training and customized emergency procedures for your specific environment
  • Service-level training

Thermography
Your solution is thermographically scanned to reveal any hot spots within your InfraStruXureTM zone. A full report of the results is provided. This service is performed during a single on-site visit during normal business hours. (This specialized service is available only for solutions covered under an APC service contract.)

On-site Service
This service includes 1-year On-site Repair Service on APC components, including labor, travel expenses and spare parts (including built-in batteries). Includes 24x7 Telephone Technical Support. Three levels of response are available: Next Business Day, Next Day, and 4-hour Response.

Preventative Maintenance Visit
Your APC system components are inspected and tested to ensure proper operation over time. This service is performed during a single on-site visit scheduled for your convenience, including weekends and holidays.

Battery Refreshment Program
APC will replace your UPS batteries during a single on-site visit. This service is performed during normal business hours.
