Design and Engineering
Every Spectrum® generating system is computer-designed to ensure compatibility and consistency before the manufacturing process begins. Our generator designs are put through demanding prototype tests:

• Generator overload test
• One-step full-load and transient test
• Motor starting test for system capabilities
• Three-phase symmetrical short-circuit test
• Generator cooling and air flow test
• UL2200 listed 

Production Testing
After Spectrum generators, transfer switches, switchgear and controls are assembled they are production tested as integrated systems, ensuring reliable operation. Before it can be shipped, every component must pass our tests:

• One-step full-load pickup tests verify performance specifications
• Voltage and frequency regulation and stability test
• Voltage, amperage, frequency, and power output ratings verified
• Controller logic, pre-alarm warnings, and shutdown functions test
• Complete systems tested at full-load with accompanying switchgear

Manufacturer’s Warranty
Standard or optional warranties are available to meet specified applications. Warranties cover all components including:
